Are you kidding me? Talk about La La Land!! How great is it that we have 2 great pieces to this puzzle, an unusable or damaged Randall blade, and a group of knife artisans that can make it into something indescribable. Love this thread, it never ceases to amaze me.

Warren,

Me thinks your right on the gunstock handle! Well done guys; everything about it is awesome. What no Mudbone?

Thanks Tom. No I'm keeping this dark and stealthy and hoping the stock sheath that this blade came in works out.

Warren, That beauty should fit perfectly in the original sheath.

Pappy, You are so right, I use to not even look at Randall's with damaged handles. After finding the James Gang (through this forum) it has become one of the things I look for most.

Thanks Eric the only issue could be the keeper strap.

My humble apologies, your keeper strap hardware will unite and function as designed. Your handle may stick out past your leather belt loop a little to far however. hehehe

Eric,

Back to the drawing board. My fears were confirmed about the keeper strap, too short. Anyway on to something way cool and appropriate. More to follow.
