Duke--

I have a triathlete with mammoth tooth scales....via Gene Beal. I'm very impressed with his work and would certainly recommend him.

12-6 Sportsman's Bowie

Stainless

Thumb notches

NS single hilt, squared top

Red Micarta

Crow's Beak alloy buttcap, drilled for lanyard

#15 clip: I like the 'no choil' of the 6" (I have a Fireman) and want to keep that, but I'd prefer the 15 clip (or even a 16 shape).

Can it be done?

Or, barring that, a 5" stainless Gambler with NS hilt, red micarta, alloy crow's beak handle?

Thanks,

Bob

No to the first knife...Yes to the second. Of course...Neither with red micarta as the shop has none. You would have to supply it.
Red and blue is available or maroon.

Was it the 15 clip that did it in?

That,,,along with "6" options. You're only allowed "5".

Is the leather handled bird & trout still available....I don't see it listed in the current "non-catalog" brochure. Thx.

Leather handles on the trout and bird "and" the model #21...yes, although I never understood why folks would give up a $50 piece of stag (No charge on those 2 models).

Capt, I ordered a Smith Bowie with Ivory some five years ago while visiting the shop. It is now time for specs and my supplying the ivory to the shop (How time goes by quickly!)

Anyway I have seen very large Ivory handles on bowies, I know that there are standard specs for an ivory handle can you tell me what they are?, also are there any rules as to making the handle larger than the standard shape or the commando shapes? Thanks for any information anyone can provide.
