I would not know for sure, but I would suppose that it was in their kitchen for quite some time. There were very few knives in this collection that were recently made. Most of his stuff was from the mid to late 50's into the 60's.
I'm sure there are others that could speculate with a bit more authority than myself.

Rocky, I sent you a payment a few minutes ago.
You can send. Just noticed that we have different time zones.
My time now 8.24 am, the difference is 7 hours between ourselves smile

.

Look, the same cut-out fingers on the handle of the knife, as the report #32119 by Stephen RKS 5536, on the second page of this topic.

Yes, paid for, and shipped this morning...thanks
I think you are right about the match. In that photo, the sheath is Heiser...so that may help you with dating the knife.
Thanks for the buy
:-)Rocky

That's so can see better smile

Interesting notches under your fingers.
This large incision is not so good non-slip, like fine modern incision.

Here's a nice 10-5 package I picked up from Greg a couple of weeks ago.
I guess RMK "Fisherman's Special" could be an appropriate name for the set. Stainless blade naturally, all the rest is aluminum, capped off with a custom waxed sheath. Cool cool

Whoa! That's a fantastic set up. As a person who has been known to wet a line from time to time, I really need one of those. If you don't mind sharing, how does a person go about getting something like that?
