When I lived in Pennsylvania, I was able to visit Great Eastern Cutlery a few times, they make very nice slipjoints in older patterns.
I was looking at their website recently and I saw that they had a new model out the 74 Mustang, and it was available in ironwood.
I decided I wanted one, so I called and asked it they could pick one out for me that had some figure rather than straight grain.
I am really happy with their pick, so here it is.
1095 steel

Thanks guys
they had a bunch of photos on the website with many variations of ironwood from straight grain to burl, so I figured it couldn't do any harm to ask for one with some figure.
They did pick a nice one.
They are a really nice knife for the price, make in USA and very nice fit and finish
