Clear today. No wind. High 52.

Perfect weather to cut firewood.

Once I got going, I started peeling off the layers.

I was down to short sleeves by Noon.

Yesterday,Mother Nature dumped about 27+ inches of aggw on us.

So I guess,Dirty Water that is about what the global warming is up here in New England.

Now to go out and relocate the stuff. I went out three times yesterday to relocate about 8 inches each time. This moring woke up to yet another 5 inches.

Actually, weather science predicts global warming to increase the severity and number of all storms including winter and summer.
But, it seems contrary when experiencing extreme snow storms.

About half of Americans don’t think climate change will affect them

About 4 1/2 feet at the end of the driveway courtesy of the snow plows. Nice, solid, ice oacked snow.

I have always said "there are few problems that cannot be solved by the application of high explosives"

Absolutely accurate Wayne! I’ve said virtually the exact same thing for several decades now, (sometimes out loud) and have successfully used it as a problem solving technique when appropriate, and possible. My beautiful/wonderful spouse has sometimes heard me say it for almost 4 decades and noticed when I began using “flame thrower” & “high explosives” interchangeably. Said that it worried her “even more AND stay home more often on snow days.”
And Coach, my dairy farming, hard working father used firewood cutting in the coldest weather as a chore to help one learn to push through and not complain of the cold when needing to work outside in cold weather. It can even help one identify which neighbors are most bothered by public nudity.

I like cuttn’ wood on cold days. It is a good way to stay warm! I read once that logging was one of the highest calorie burning occupations there was.

I can’t do it like I used to could, but I can still work up a good sweat and it will cure insomnia that’s for sure!

I live so far back in the woods that I don’t have to worry about any neighbors seeing me nude. However, several years ago, word got out that I cut the grass in my drawers and they put me on the prayer list up at the Baptist Church.

That was fine with me. I’ll take all the help I can get!!!

Haha!! Glad the preacher's wife didn't see me in shorts, she would have a whole different idea about what a male specimen looks like.
