About half of what happened last Friday is gone thankfully. Wednesday never happened, and we're seeing more questionable forecasts over the next few days. Today I had to travel about 70 miles west of here and not a trace anywhere. Spring melt is gonna be interesting to watch the nearby rivers approach flood stage. That will be April's nightmare.

We had a 4" dump this morning, but it warmed up to the mid 40's and melted off my deck. We still have about a foot on the ground. Yesterday I went to the PO, and heard Redwing Blackbirds,so spring is very close to central Idaho.

official reports on the last storm showed that some parts of the state received 28 inches and my area 0ver 16 inches.

By noon,at least in my area,the roads were clear and dry.

Supposed to have another weather event on Monday but that looks like it will be going off shore.....hopefully.

Last fall we were experiencing a serious drought,now the reservoirs are at 110%.

Today we're going to get into the 80s.

Right now (about 10:30a localtime) it's 70F outside and I already have the A/C "enabled" so that it'll keep the house temps in check.
