-5 degrees here at 5:45 am.

Coldest I ever been in.

So far no broken pipes but we have several days before it gets above freezing.

Some portions of the state have seen extremely cold weather. The coldest it has been for decades.

Sleet, freezing rain right now. Then a bit of a clear up in time for more..........yep,you guessed it,snow for Wednesday night into Thursday.

When all this stuff finally melts, there will be lots of flooding down by the lower bank sections of the rivers.

Fox Business showed choppers spraying de icing liquid over frozen wind turbines. What a joke. Natural gas and coal power generation wouldn't do that. Just sayin'.

So much for wind power. What a joke! Still more green deals coming from our Crook in Chief and his commie Vice. They are a disgrace to this great country.

Hey, Pap and Sidney--

Here is a chance to keep NG in the business.

Somebody just design NG-fired heaters to keep windmills thawed out!

3 years ago, my brother in law in Longview, Texas had a quadruple bypass and a valve replacement. It was done robotically, over the Internet, by a doctor in Rotchester, New York. Who would ever have thunk such a thing 20 years ago.

I reckon that some money could be made by a smart guy that could figure out how to make a “freeze proof” wind turbine. Or maybe a turbine that can spray itself with de icer.

Same for a “high storage” battery made from easily obtainable materials.

There’s a lot of smart folks running around. Somebody will figure it out.
