I found out years ago, that politics are as deep within the churches, as they are out.
It doesn't take going to church to believe that there is a Lord and Jesus Christ. All it takes is to watch a morning sunrise, holding a newborn baby, or gazing at the zillion stars in the sky at night to confirm.
The church probably did you a favor by asking you to refrain from attending.
