It was a long night but it’s over now. We did get 2” of rain but I’m not sure it was worth it.

I forgot to mention my first Ruana was purchased in 1965 in Missoula, Montana, was the skinner model with full flap sheath. One of my grandboys has it now. Still have my Smokejumper and a couple more.

Pap,
Yep,Missoula, home to the Smoke Jumper School (at least one of them)

Getting back to the weather,it has been mild here for the past couple of days. But I have a feeling that Old Man Winter has still a knock out punch or two left.

How did our Texas and Louisiana friends come out with all the tornadoes there lately? Hope everyone is OK.

One in the NW corner of my county, near (and at one point on) Lake Texoma/Red River.

Looks like it made EF-2 sizing and tore up a couple of towns pretty good. Luckily only one person died.

I'm basically at the other corner of the county.

It's been raining most of the night all day pretty steady. Good for the reservoirs and the farmers, but not so good for the potential mud and rock slides. Nice and green anyway. Hope your day is a good one.
