It has been so hot and dry the whole month of July. 90+ every day and so dry. My garden just burnt up. This is the hottest July since records have been kept. Now that it is to late for the garden we are supposed to get rain for the next week.

69* this morning in deep east Texas. I will take it.
Btw, Rob, it's Baja Oklahoma.
If we had emojis this would be a big smile. :^)
Thanks for the correction.
We had a quick rain this morning that pushed the temps from 74F down to 66. Two hours and change later, we're still in the 60s.
After that temp drop, I opened up the house to let some air through. Wife cooked a cod filet last night and the whole house smelled like fish when we woke up.

I always try an cook fish outside for that reason. Oven poached halibut is about the only fish that doesn't stink up the house.

Sparta, North Carolina had a earthquake this morning around 8:07, that was felt all the way down to the upstate of SC. All of my friends were posting on social media this morning, wanting to know who felt it. Me, I slept through it and Wally was on the way to get breakfast. Sharpi, we are fine from the Hurricane. But NC, all in a week, has had a Hurricane, tornado, and earthquake, and the Corona!!
