Wind roaring out of the north right now. Probably coming down from my cabin up in Maine, which,by the way,is at a toasty minus 2 degrees.

May see the 40s by end of this week after some sleet and freezing rain.

Yep,al gore was right, global warming at it's finest.

We had three days where it was just beautiful, highs in the 70's and low 80's, plenty of sunshine, but windy. Now it is in the 40's and cloudy with some light rain. Flowers are starting to bloom, and the trees are starting to bud out. Spring can't be to far away, although last year it stayed cold at times up until mid June

Denver had its 4th worst snow storm since recording began, sometime in the 1800's.
Official depth at Denver International Airport was 27.1 inches.
It was about 18" here at the house.
I think the most at a ski area in Colorado was 34" at Echo Mountain close to Denver.
Heavy, wet, snow with lots of water content.
We be happy since most of Colorado is in extreme drought.
And, yes, the meteorologists do attribute this to global warming, as predicted by weather science.

We have a young redbud tree out front that hasn't budded out yet.

It's been my experience that the first spring after I put one in the ground it blooms late.

Hoping that's the case and it hasn't died from the heavy freeze earlier this year.
