It wasn't an offer rocky. $2500-$5000 is the price range on a #21 of your quality and edition. Higher grades, i.e. gold inlays, etc....much much more!

Nice to have those superb pieces but even nicer to take them out and use them.

In my opinion,something that is used and cared for properly has more value than something just sitting in storage.

Trust me on this,my first Model 1 that I got in '64 did not rest in my locker!!!!

I just scored this 8-3/8" S&W Model 629 yesterday from the local gun shop. I have been wanting a .44 magnum for hog hunting and couldn't pass this beast up:)

That is superb!!! Do you handload for it?

My favorite 44 mag load is a 290 grain cast SWC over 17.5 grains of 2400.

Shoots real well in my Ruger Alaskan.
