I never have tried canned tomatoes because we always have plenty of fresh during the Summer. They would probably be just as good.

I also like SPICEY V8 with SIRACHA or TOBASCO sauce for the burn when I don’t have any ripe homegrown Tomaters.

The stewed tomatoes give this salsa a different flavor than fresh tomatoes. You should try it once.

I have picked and eaten most everything he has advertised.
And can relate to the spelling.Anyone ever heard or used the term.

When I was a kid, I used to go stay with my Grandmother for a couple of weeks during the Summer. She always had a big garden.

She had a big dinner bell and she told me that if she rang it, I’d better take off running for the house from wherever I was on the farm.

Every day, right at NOON, she would ring that bell, and I’d take off in a sprint (usually from the creek a half mile away.)

When I got there, the table would be set with GOOD STUFF from her garden. Home Grown Tomaters, greens, skwash, purpled hurl peas, sweet Korn, green beans, the sweetest onions you ever tasted, a skillet of korn bread, cabbage, sliced kantylop, and a big pitcher of iced tea.

The only meat would be the bacon or ham she used to season with. It was the best!

Oh, and a blackberry cobbler or apple pie for dessert.
