Chief, Although this example does "not" have a compass...It "does" have a standard stag handle with #14 FG's...i.e.: No slabs. Is this what you're looking for. There is easily enough room for the compass. Hope this helps, Capt. Chris
Wondered if anybody ever asked for a compass on a Cattleman-style stag handle...Haven't dug out knives to look at dimensions, thinking that might be a close fit if it would work at all.

I see a few members have mentioned a compass. Will a compass work with a stainless blade? None of my Randall's(5-6 carbon,3 small gamblers) have a compass.
Oh yeah.
First RKCC club knife was a large Stanaback Special (stainless only) with slab-side bone linen micarta and a compass.
Doesn't mean that "slab-side stag" will work with a compass, but we know compass and stainless blades will work, especially with SS large.
