Good morning members,
Thanks to Billy for getting this leg of the relay started. As to blade preference, it depends upon your needs. "Both" have 1/4" blade stock. "Both" work on game and camp tasks just fine.
The 4" version is far superior as an EDC. Shorter blade length, along with a more compact sheath design, attribute to it's being the best choice..."on your hip".
The 4 5/8" is more "Butch" and with it's designed sheath, intended for in-field use on game, would make a great camp/game knife! It all depends on your most-wanted needs.
Safe queen? OK: Then it doesn't matter.
