Mike,
That is the smart way to go with Cowboy loads or light reloads.

I have a Colt Army Special that has a LOT OF HISTORY. I only use very light Trail Boss loads in it..

It's history started with being used by the Rough Riders and ended up in 'Nam in '66 where I took it from a NVA regular "that did not need it anymore"

picked up this little baby today...AND I do mean baby!!!
Ruger Bearcat Shopkeeper...as I'm sure folks know, this was/is a Lipsey model...they were made in blue, with a 3.5"(or maybe a little shorter) barrel and fluted cylinder, and a 3" model in stainless...I've got a blue model that went through Tyler Gun Works It's nice!!!, then I've got a couple of the stainless models....I think I now, have enough....BUT...hay when do we ever have enough??

I also have a stainless one Rocky. "Just one" though. It is unfired and will be TJ's (My Grandson) 1st revolver.
Best, Capt. Chris

Rocky,
WOW!! Super nice!!

I remember when Ruger first came out with the BearCats, the price was if I am not mistaken $49. but that was in '58.

Then they dropped the price to $39 for a while.

Always is a nice camp/trail gun. I have an El Paso Saddlery crossdraw holster for mine.
