We are likely done with frosts/freezes until December.

Grass is starting to show signs of green. Multiple neighbors have made their "first mowing pass of the season" this last weekend to scalp the brown grass carried over through the winter.

Got in the low 70s here today. I to have mowed to clear up what I didn't do in the fall, the grass seems to turn greener every day. I hope our cold weather is over but I don't think so. Some our biggest snows have come in March. Last spring it stayed cold up into June.

Earliest we had received significant snow was by end of Sept, the latest was mid May.

Right now frost on the pumpkin this morning but should warm up to the 50s today.

Supposedly rain this week end,I just hope that it won't turn to snow............again.

I have had some beautiful weather to "Recreate" in this week although it did get a little warm yesterday for Firewood Work. (See my other post)

And, I've been able to watch the Dogwoods bloom; another sure sign of Springtime!

Coach,
Now with the warmer weather,I guess the "buzzzworms" will be out!!!

So while doing the woodcutting, make sure you are careful where you put your hands..............and feet!!!!

Venomous snakes are very few and far between here. The two legged snakes are much more prevalent and active.

Won't be doing any lawn mowing for at least another month or so here.

The Bama tornadoes yesterday "glanced" the hunting camp but hit one members property in Pelham, Al. and another members daughter's hone in Eagle Creek subdivision near Birmingham. I have not heard from Mitchell yet??
Just Sayin'...not all "How's your weather" is as picturesque as Coach's right now.
Best, Capt. Chris

I’m glad Mitchell & Family are ok!

I had just P.M.ed him last night about that 7.62 ammo he sold last weekend.

Little did I know...

We’ve had our share of that kind of weather here in Texas and it ain’t no fun!
