California is always hurting for a big snowpack, much man caused from poor forest practices the past 50 years. Idaho has had a fairly average snowpack the past 4-5 years. So far we are 150% of average, remains to be seen if that trend holds for the rest of the winter. We had a snowmagedion back in 2017, and I lost half my deck rails from huge chunks of snow and ice coming off my roof. Don't need that much again.
