My wife and I have North Face mummy bags. We used them when we trekked to Everest Base Camp many years ago. It was cold, ie) water froze outside our tents at higher elevations most nights. But we were warm in them.
Don't remember the model name or number.

I agree with Pete, the name is Wiggys. Pretty much the choice of SF folks when they go out on northern missions.

Woke up to some more aggw this morning. So in a bit,I will be out doing more relocating. Here it is,January and I am hoping for an early spring.......................that will never happen here.

I guess that al gore's idea of global warming has not come here.

Near zero temps with daytime highs in the balmy teens.

By end of month, long range forecast shows temps near 30....maybe.

So Wiggy's is as good as the hype? Every email I used to get from them was too full of self promotion for me, so I've avoided them

Jerry,
In my humble opinion,Wiggys is pretty much THE BEST. A little pricey but worth every penny.

If they say the sleeping bag is good for up to minus 15 degrees, they mean it.

You buy cheap twice maybe even more.

Well, here we go again, some more AGGW predicted for Saturday and,as usual they are pretty much all over the map on this one.
1-3 inches...or is it feet? Maybe a dusting.

Right now we are in the near zero temps but they say a January thaw is due for next week.................maybe

It's COLD here!!
high in the low 30's....FREEZING!!
going down to nearly 20 tonight....all the bleaders are crying for everyone to "bring in their animals"....Jesus...what about the wild critters...they seem to make somehow...before folks got BAT on me...I understand that the inside animals may have not have had the chance to put on winter fur...I know!!
My son has an outside cat...it will be outside tonight...just the way it is

The snow storm that hit last night dumped about 18 inches here and up Boston and the Cape area looks like they got 2+ feet.

Wind chills while doing the relocating stuff today were in the well below zero numbers.

Rocky,
I only wish for 30 degree daytime temps and in the 20s at night. That would be almost bathing suit weather here.
