Thank you. Yeah I am kind of hooked on Bret’s knives. I have been trying to pry one of his personal knives from him, without success.
I started carrying one of his Sowbelly trappers about a month ago and really like it. If you ever have a Dowell you want to move, give me a shout.
Happy New Year

Rod

Arizona Knives had one for sale last week, still a little rich for me, but a nice stag handle.

Thank you for the heads up. I had seen the knife on their website. And you are correct, IMO, a bit pricey.
I have bought from them once before. It too was a pricey knife, albeit a bit unique in that the blade was hand rubbed. At that time, Bret had not done many hand rubbed blades.

Well I have acquired a few on Bret's knives since my last post. I don't have this one in hand(Bret's photo), but the knife is mine.

This is a bit of a story. I lost my Dowell EDC and slip during the winter. I was distraught and contemplated slitting my wrists(jokingly), but could not because I had no knife!!
But I bought a couple slips at Blade and have a new Dowell EDC. Life is good and man I love my EDC pocket knife.
