Right now it is a cold hard rain here. I was going to go out squirrel hunting but not in this mess.

Light rain/drizzle yes, good hunting weather but not this stuff.

This has got to be the wettest summer/fall on record.

Here too Wayne. We got 1-2" here last night. First of the year that had any kind of accumulation. Farmers Almanac is predicting warmer but wetter for this winter.

Warren,
It cleared up a b it yesterday afternoon so I went out for squirrels with my 22.410 O/U. No luck.

The Farmers Almanac has always been very accurate. This has got to be the wettest summer and fall ever.

Expecting snow tomorrow evening 1-4 inches.

We go on a Winter storm watch this afternoon at 7. Calling for sleet and freezing rain but, it is supposed to warm up to the 40's tomorrow so it will all be gone. This has been the wettest year I can remember since 1957 and I have had enough as that will do any good.

Colorado ski areas are opening early this year.
What a relief from the drought, fires, and dry.
If it keeps up, we should get above normal snowpack and the streams will be coughing up trout next spring and summer, the river rafts will have a normal season, and the mountains should be green again. We can't get the glaciers back, but maybe the snow will last a while.
No complaints here!

Last night and into this morning we received 8+ inches of al gore global warming.

This is the earliest significant snowfall we had in a long time.

So in a bit I will be going out to do some more snow "relocating".

You don't remove it,you basically put it in one place from another.

Maybe by July it will be gone.

Picture perfect day in East Texas.

Sunny, no wind, 60s.

Fall leaves are absolutely beautiful.

Coach,
Now you don't have to rub it in!!!!

East Texas? Anywhere near Granbury?? That is where Bond Arms is located.

If you are nearby and interested, maybe you can visit them for a tour???

Super nice folks.

Beauty is in the eye of the viewer.
We have rain turning to snow, snow in the mountains, and cold temp's.
That means more moisture, less fire hazards, cold killing the pesky insects and bugs.
We be happy, happy, happy as they say on Duck Dynasty.
