Rocky, that is a nice pistol for sure. Tom, this is my EDC, and a Sig that I can afford to shoot all day.

Rocky,
Yep,I have a Clark 1911 as well. Sent it in for one of his accuracy jobs and Bo-Mar sights for NMC.

Back then (1970) the turn around was about 2 weeks, not much longer.

The Bomar shop was just a few miles down the road from me. You would not believe what a thrown-up tin shed it was. It's all gone now unless they moved to somewhere else. Are they still making sights?

Tom,
I have not seen any of the Bo-Mar ads so I do not know that they are in business or not.

Their sights were excellent.

I was "told" that the old bomar sights were out of production, but that copies were available. Not sure how credible this info was or is but that was the story t presented to me. Funny thing was the shop could not say where to get the sights.

You go down that one alley and look for the green door.

Wasn’t there a movie back in the 70s titled:

BEHIND THE GREEN DOOR

The star of that movie lived a few miles from me in the next town over.
