It’s been a few days. Weather is changing for some. What’s for dinner?

Corned Beef, Swiss, and Cole Slaw on ANY kind of bread is good especially with a dill pickle and chips.

I got a deal on some oysters and hurt myself on many dozen raw on the half shell. Too many dozen!

I made some homemade cocktail sauce with extra horseradish and Rocoto pepper paste.

I LOVE the BURN! My nose and eyes were running!

My first try at Huckleberry Cream Cheese Puff Pastry, very easy: thaw a Puff Pastry, smear room temp cream cheese in the middle, smear your jam choice on top of the cream cheese, make slice marks on each side of the jam and fold over each other, brush egg all over, sprinkle sugar on top, bake at 350 for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Wait for it to cool or you'll burn your mouth.

More on Oysters:

I bought 12 dozen last week and they are GONE as of last night.

My cocktail sauce is: one jar of Lousiana Cocktail Sauce, 3 heaping Tablespoons of Super Hot ground Horseradish, 4 ounces of Super Hot Rocoto Pepper paste, a generous squeeze of Siracha sauce, and a couple of shakes of Louisiana Pepper Sauce. Burn Baby Burn!!!!

I dont generally eat 'em on Ritz crackers but due to the shortages, Saltines are not to be had ANYWHERE in these parts right now.
