In Deep East Texas, we call those Tater Tots.

Please, no offense. I love Germany. On my mother's side of the family, we are all from there. But, better yet in 1967, I drank my first bier in west Berlin about two blocks from the wall. I was 17.

And I had many on my 18th with several others also celebrated Birthdays in Munich 1975.
One of the most memorable weeks of my life.

Pappy,
I do not know how I could cook without cast iron. It is so much better than anything else.
