Just-cause JerryG was asking, here's another Captain's STASH Model #3. This time in 6" with nice popcorn stag. 6" should also be considered for this build. This one also has "two-tone" hardware.

Thanks for posting those 3's in my favorite stag Captain. Gorgeous every one. I haven't seen a whole lot of vintage 3's with crown stag, and here is my only one.

Now: The possible build: If we're going to do this, we need to start with blade length. Here are the choices:
These are all available, currently:
A) 5 inch
B) 6 inch
C) 7 inch
