I was very fortunate to buy the knife from Bill Ruple at Blade. A real gentleman.

Very nice, Rod.

I’m not familiar with him but I will study up on him.

CPM 154 blade, Rockwell hardness 60. Bill jigged the scales. The knife has red liners.
4 1/4” closed, 7 3/8” open.

Thank you Michael. It was your suggestions that helped get the knife. As nice as the knife is, talking with Bill was just as rewarding as he was very informative and enlightening.
It won’t be my last Ruple.

I first met Bill Ruple around 1993 (or so) at The Knifemakers Guild Show, held at The Marriot World Center, just outside Disney World. A truly great guy and fabulous knifemaker! He has just been voted into The Blade Show Knifemakers ring of honor! (I think that's what it's called at this year's Blade Show!
Goos Get Rod.
Stay Sharp, Capt. Chris
