OK members,
Thanks to all for your kind words, prayers and support. I'll try and make this as brief as science will allow...so here's the "latest" and what will be my last report on my well-being.
I had my 1st "in-office" appointment with my primary physician yesterday. Here's the abbreviated edition on all things covered.
Good news 1st:
* Covid's gone!
* I can breathe again!
* Hematoma is reduced and partially disbursed!
* My pain levels are within controllable boundaries and liveable!
Bad News 2nd:
* Pancreatitus is inoperable
* Calcifications on my Aorta are inoperable
* Calcifications on my Pancreas are inoperable
What's next:
* Surgery to remove gallstones (immediate)
* Time
Other results worth mentioning are the facts that, none of the above inoperable conditions have manifested themselves and, had I not had the CT scan, we probably wouldn't even know about them! The muscle "tear" seems to be healing itself. Again: A lot of this stuff I'll die "with"...not "of", although life-shorting could be the end result.
I just wanted to thank you, one and all, for your support.
Let's talk about knives!
Stay Sharp, Capt. Chris
