That's: Capt. Chris and Covid Report...
I'll try to be as brief as possible. 1st off: Many grateful thanks to all of you who have wished me well. It's great to know how you stand with this community!
As many of you know, Saturday at The Blade Show, I lost my voice (as is, quite often the case) and started feeling neck pains. I associated all of this to Blade show business and sitting underneath an A/C outlet. I was wrong. Sunday: Worse. By Monday obviously something viral, etc. going on.
Tuesday: Tested (+) for Covid. Days went by and I realized I didn't have the "5-Day and you're done" Covid. I had the "Delta" variant. This past Friday...(That's right: 2 weeks) I finally tested (-)..."BUT"...(There I go again)...it came at a price. One week earlier I was driving and had a "cough"...(Just One)...so severe that I tore a muscle in my back and developed pooling blood and a hematoba on my abdomen wall!
2 trips to the ER (one via ambulance) and the results told a truly shitty tale. All of this Covid has caused 2-4 months of TLC to go away and Pancreatitis which may..or may "not" go away!
I just wanted all y'all to know "what's what". My primary is not deeply concerned about my well-being, 'cept to say it's gonna' take some time and may have "some" permanent effects (or affects, I never know which is which) on The Ol' Captain. I'll keep you updated and thanks for your prayers and support. Covid is not dead in America folks. I have had both shots and a booster (Molerna) and this shit is kickin' my ass!
Stay Safe out there,
Thanks again, Capt. Chris
