All "CW", regardless of what type of material is marked with that customer's order. "After the fact" if a customer has a problem and provides his invoice as proof of original purchase, the "CW" will appear. If not, and it is not sambar stag, the shop will reject it. If it "is" sambar stag and closely resembles the type, size, etc. of the shop's stag, there is a good chance that it will be repaired as a shop-supplied piece.
Best, Capt. Chris

Hey everyone:
This is just an "update", if you will, regarding the new Randall shop-supplied ivorite. I have had a couple of inquiries asking me if the shop will make a Model #12-8", "Bear Bowie" using this great new material. The answer is "yes". You can also order a Model #12-9". either a standard #12-9 or a #12-9", #14 grind. It is listed in the catalog "BUT" seeing as how I have had specific questions regarding this, I just felt I should mention it here. Hope this helps.
Best, Capt. Chris
PS: Any handle shape that is available on these knives is also available using the new ivorite...CCS

Is a waxed no-hone sheath a do-able option for a Combat Companion, when ordered directly from the shop?

Exactly what I needed to know, I didn't see the cost for a waxed sheath in the new catalogue. Is this considered a "chargeable" option? Thanks Capn!

It is certainly charged to you, but it does "not" count against your 5 option limit. That is reserved for chargeable options on the knife itself.

Cap-

What about a NS butt cap on a Cattleman's with a regular round stag handle, is that do-able?

I believe it is doable Mike...and I got your email, but...2 things:

A) It'll be butt-ugly and way, way, way too handle heavy!
B) Computer woes have kept me from responding.
C) (Bonus coverage)...I'll check on the "for sure"...
Best, Capt. Chris

I just have never seen one and it could be a cool "ugly" Cattleman's.
