List was updated to reflect some changes made. To both David & Larry, I noted what you have posted.

Curious what the difference is between a Model 14 hilt w/ holes vs Model 18 hilt w/ holes? Or is there a difference ?
Thank You..

I can't speak for the difference between the two hilts, but only the 18 comes standard with flared holes.

Flared holes on any other model is a chargeable option @ $30.00 and counts on the five maximum chargeable options.

Probably doesn't answer your inquiry, just adding a little bit till Paisan sees your question.

The #14 holes are slightly flared as well but the shape of the #14's double hilt is not "oblongish" like the #18.
Hope this helps, Mike
Capt. Chris

Mike,
I am fixin' to post a couple of different variants of this 6 inch American Fighter to my website. "ALL" of them have the #18 holes. Hopefully you can see the hilt & flared holes associated with this option.
Stay Sharp, Capt. Chris

If you buy a used RMK that has a missing compass, will the shop put a new one in if you send it in? Not as a warranty but as a chargeable fix.

Yes, as long as there is no OTHER refinishing needed it would be $45 + shipping back to you...
