Rod--

Thanks for the informative reply.

Small blades can be nice EDC without shocking or intimidating people who might see them.

About the unmarked sheath for the Mini 5...maybe somebody at RMK could clarify if it came from the shop.

But the knife is nice in and of itself!

from what I can see in the photos, my caveat, the sheath is legit for Ron's mini 5. I would estimate the knife was made around mid 80's

Ordered This Model #19-5 from Capt. Chris about 10 years ago. I have DW to thank for the beautiful handle material.

Got this Model #1 7" from A.G.Russell many years ago. They supplied the Maple Burl handle material for a batch of 200 I believe.

Minis(other than the "5" current ones and the #18 of old) came (mostly) with a "sleeve" or a "pocket-carry" as they did not have any type of "clip" or "belt loop" and many had Model #'s stamped by M. Johnson also.
Hope this helps, Capt. Chris

Capt. Chris--

Thanks for clarifying.

I had not been away of a Mini 5.

Always more to learn.

I like my 5-4's, might like to run into a Mini 5.

Thank you Capt. As I said before, when I was corresponding with Pete Hamilton, he stressed having an accompanying “pocket sleeve,” was very important when buying a mini 5.
