manufacturers are not supporting the supply chain for parts for these "new cars"...because there is no current answer to the actual replacement of the batteries that are in these cars....in other words....when the batteries quit....haul your 60k+ car to the junk yard....it will be worthless my 17 year old truck will still be running...on those awful fossil fuels....that is....if I'm "allowed" to buy fuel...I will need to check with the UN
Some people can't wait to see what will be done with all the used-up batteries.
This is starting to rear its ugly head in California, as they pushed hard on the hybrid/EV incentives back in 2006 and those vehicles are now hitting their 25-30yr lifespan.
