Tom, Mine has also "faded/altered" over time. Guess we are all just, plain much happier when it's Old Westinghouse darkening than our "not-so-cherry" red micarta...but it appears to "fade" similarly! Best, Capt. Chris

Cap, I still have a couple of blocks of red. Do you think the red fades only after being finished? Should the blocks still finish out as the cherry red we knew and loved? Btw, the faded red is still a good looking grip.

Micarta Memorial Day Monday, Best wishes to all on the day that we're "supposed" to remember those who paid & gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country...(NOT: To go out and buy a mattress!). Model 1 in Ivorite and, to me, the absolute "best-looking" combo for "red, white & blue" spacers. Bless those on their special day and their families as well.
