Pappy, Coach, and Rocky (and the rest of y’all!)

Marinating a free range yard bird for the barbie tomorrow. Here's a good recipe:

3/4 C canola oil, never olive
1 T salt
1 t black pepper
2 T brown sugar
2 t cumin
1 t paprika
2 t chili powder
1 t ground mustard
Juice of 1 lemon
1 T Worcester sauce
1/3 C cider vinegar
1/2 minced onion
4 minced garlic cloves

Mix well and marinade chicken pieces in a Ziplock for 6-12 hours.

We got out of School last Friday (20th) and celebrated with 5 lbs. of boiled Crawfish.

Then for Memorial Day Weekend, we Smoked some Beef Ribs, Tater Salad, and Baked Beans.
