19-5 because it looks like it could dig a ball joint out of the socket and separate ribs.

1/4” stock meets the “By God Serious” criteria in my view and, a length of 4-1/2” hits the sweet spot that’s been discussed. So the #23 — mentioned by some earlier — gets my vote.

Rob Frey,

I would think that the Model 5 camp knife would be nice set up the way Bradford Angier had his full size Model 5 set up.

But,in all honesty, any Randall Knife you choose will be a good choice.

So, Rob Frey is heading in the right direction BUT I’d like to take it up a notch. To be certain that “Our BY GOD Serious Hunt’n Knife can handle any Hog, Moose, Puma, Holstein Heffer, Brownie and any/everything else we care to camp to hunt AND process. A
#14; 7&1/2” full tang, 1/4” stock,
-Bowie Clip Blade grind (chg.?), sharpened top of blade
-SS blade (nc)
-Green Micarta (nc), single-finger handle
-NS SINGLE HILT, squared-off
-TN
-Thong Hole, lined (nc)
-Waxed, No Hone Sheath
Thanks so much Chris, for one helluva’ Build that many others seem to be missing out on.

I think I've seen enough (or lack thereof) to give up on this build.
Sad,
Capt. Chris

I am not a serious hunter in the least...but 11 pages of responses, 15+ in the last few days shows "lack of interest"?, enough to abandon the build?
