Earlier question, in regards to a compass: "NEVER..NO WAY"...on any RMK with a leather handle featured. The butt cap and exposed tang nut needs be installed to tighten (& sometimes, over time) re-tighten the washers. Hope that clears that one up. 2ndly: If everyone would go back a page and look the 3-Model #25's that Brother Billy posted, you can see what the outside "edge" of a standard butt cap (pictured on top), looks like--verses a rounded one (The other 2). It may help you decide on what you'e voting for. Best, Capt. Chris

* Thin and rounded nickel silver butt cap (I believe a full size nickel silver butt cap is too heavy for proper balance of this knife, therefore either thin and rounded nickel silver or duralumin if full size) * Black hone sheath (black looks great with white handles)
