Captain...
When sending in a block of G10 to the shop for a knife build...can you tell me what option's the shop will and won't do with the G10... other than handle 'shape' ?

Rex,
They will "not" install a compass. If the knife is ordered with a butt cap you can get a wrist thong but Randall is reluctant to drill the G-10 to install one. All of the above is because G-10 is hard on the 3 "B's"...Blades, Belts-n-Bits. Metal spacers are doable and you had best have the exact sized piece of material as they do not want to have to whittle it down for ya'...
Hope this helps, Capt. Chris

What models are currently available with a slab stag option besides the Cattleman's?

Pappy,
Only the Cattleman and the Stanaback Special are available with slab sides. The search option is your friend. oldguy

I thought so, but just purchased a small Model 5-4 and it has stag slabs so I was thinking it might be an unusual one, so the reason to confirm. Thanks-

It was an ebay deal so when it arrives, I'll take some pics. It will match my Cattleman's.

I believe they will. I am on my way down there in an hour's time...I'll check. Seeing as how it is a catalog item I don't see why not???
