crutchtip Knife Enthusiast Registered: 11/16/05 Posts: 2850	NONE were stamped after forging. The blade stamped forging is earlier than the ricasso stamped forging. What I was saying is it is possible the blade stamped forging was assembled after the ricasso stamped forging. Probably not, just a blade that was sitting there and got used after the switch to the thong hole. I have a couple. It has been guesstimated that WWII stiletto production was approximately 10% of fighter production. That being said, and knowing there are probably only 5 or less known dbl pinned stag fighters from the era, that leaves us with little if any probability one was ever made.
