Most of my Randall collection has micarta grips. My favorite micarta is/was the red micarta but even stored in a climate controled safe it has turned dark and has a brown look. No problems with the black micarta. Black is a good choice.

I know it's not Monday, but...I wanted to show my nifty older 6 option Model 7-4.5", SS blade, Thumb Notches, NS hilt squared, maroon micarta, Wrist thong, and white faced compass, in a Johnson tight stitched pouch sheath.

Is this a separate S? Beautiful stamp, regardless.

Hope your weekend was pleasant. FYI: As soon as I can get proper photos taken, I have "2" splendid examples of RMKs..."In the "NEW" Ivorite Micarta that the shop is now using! It doesn't "SUCK"!

Do you know if the “new” ivorite can be scrimmed? Heck I do not even know if the old Ivorite could be scrimmed?

I think it can be Rod. It looks "odd" at your 1st glance...but it grows on ya' (At least on me) in about 2-3 minutes!
