Captain Chris and the Lovely Elizabeth have BOTH been hit by the Covid bug!! Not sure of severity; however Caps' no spring chicken!! So everything is serious!

I know several people who have gotten it recently.

One situation, I gave a couple of nurses a ride home from the airport when they returned from travel, they apologized for having "colds."

I asked them if they had tested for COVID, and then stopped to buy test kits for them.

They were both positive. Paxlovid helped them recover.

And in the past week, a couple became sick even though they have limited social contact at their lake house. The only likely exposure was when they went to a restaurant and their server sneezed into her elbow as she approached their table.

All of the above had their vaccinations, but the protection declines and new strains are being found.

Hoping for the Captain and Ms to recover quickly.

We hope you aren’t near as sick as you were last time.

When I got COVID, the same weekend as you, I got a Paxlovid prescription and was about 95% better 24 hours after the first dose.

Thanks Rod: My first bought was with a very strong Omnicrom variant of this disease. This one doesn't appear to be as bad, although today is worse than yesterday. Tell Deny thanks as well...
