I have two of the best Model Sevens ever made--one from the 1960's (top) and one bought from the Captain a couple of years ago (bottom). I have no Model Elevens, and now I want one for this build--a 3-1/4 inch!

Here's my favorite Model 7-4.5" from the 70's?? Bought it 25 years ago from Steve Peters. The Captain had one last week with the #6 grind and the white micarta handle, and was a beauty.

We have built at least 1 #7 through Forum builds...I'm pretty sure it's 2 though. Building the sane knife over and over is less fun. The #11 3 and quarter is different, usable, and they aren't always seen so that ups the cool factor.

An 11-3 1/2" won't hurt my feelings if it turns out to be the build.

Billy and Ram have changed my mind and I don't have a #11 so I'm changing my choice. Nickel silver hardware with shop suppled Ironwood handle or I can donate a nice block of Spalteed Maple if that's what people want.
