I'm re-visiting this cool old thread this morning. I've "still" not done my knee. I have had 2 DR' visits and, just yesterday, a 1.2 hour MRI!! 2 of my 3 skin cancers (The 2 worst ones) have been cut out & I'm healin' up pretty good. Now then... In 2 hours time I'll be headed up to Bama...&...as promised am going to take our "mystery knife" aboard! I'll show a few photos of the "now" before it gets all bloodied-up! Can you folks tell what's unique about it? The brown-stitched Model #25 sheath will be my "user" sheath and it's quite vintage as well... Stay Sharp, Capt. Chris PS: Sorry for the crappy pics but it was all hand-held and done in-a-rush! (Did I mention I'm getting ready to go to Bama?)...CCS

This example is one of only 50, forged in carbon steel (Swedish Tool Steel, at the time)! They're hard to come by, to say the least. I got back a couple of days ago with no eventful skinning chores done as I was "buck-hunting" and only saw 2 "shooters" (for me anyway) and they were marginal. I will make my final trek the later part of next week....to be continued... Stay Sharp, Capt. Chris
