There are several Kydex sheaths, all with the same problem - the blade is very close to or touches the joint of the halves. If sand or other dirt gets inside, the sharpening will be damaged. That's why I prefer leather sheaths. An idea arose that if, when molding a sheath, a cut lead roller is placed on the cutting edge, it will create something like a storage part in a condom. The blade will already be held by the upper part of the plastic, and in the lower part the debris will be able to roll off without touching the blade, and it can then be washed later. Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to test this in practice, but perhaps someone will find this idea useful
