I am curious about the construction method RMK uses for a stag handle with a Brass Butt Plate, Is it attached to a full length tang mechanically/threaded or glued?

I think they are glued, but I can't say I know it to be so. There is no visible mechanical attachment.

Butt plates are glued direct to the handle material, no butt plates for full leather handles . Butt caps are attached by thread to the tang and depending on the handle type the nut is exposed or machined and polished flush. oldguy
