A friend of mine is trying to figure out the general value of a 50th Anniversary knife that he has. (Not for sale.) Any guidance on a ballpark?

The only time I have seen them for sale is through a dealer. They usually sell for about 3500.00.if a private sale possibly less. I own #88.

I saw one with a rick bowles scrimm in the crown of the stag once.it had a portrait of Bo Randall. I don't remember where I saw it though.

There are at least two done by Rick on the handle inserts. One (serial #189) is a complete scrim; Rick didn't complete the second one (serial #029) because the ivory was too porous. Both of them are pictured below, from page 32 in the "Green" catalog.
