Looks like blank thoughts to me.

I like to have a wrist thong when I am on the boat. I have lost a knife or two, and maybe a rod now and then, over the side.

Yep. It came up blank. Maybe because I used the bullets in a list. Will try again.

Nope, that no work.

tried quoting your first post, looks like the blank post syndrome is infectious.

Larry
Were you trying to post something and used an apostrophe in one of the words? Recently I tried to post something, with an apostrophe in a word and I got a blank page.

Whether you think you can or can not, you are right.

I had bullet points, then deleted those, and it still did not post.

I will try again when I have more time.

Wrist thong pros and cons.

Pros:
- It helps prevent loss when using the knife on or around water.
- It helps prevent loss when using the knife at heights.
- Depending on the knife and sheath setup, such as a pouch sheath, it can help to quickly get the knife out of the sheath.

Cons:
- There is no way to stow it away and it can get in the way when the knife is in the sheath.
- It can snag on things when the knife is in the sheath.
- It cannot be employed instantly if the knife is urgently needed.
- When it is not on the wrist, it can get in the way when the knife is being used, and it can snag on things when the knife is being carried.*
- If it is on the wrist, it is difficult to get rid of the knife quickly, perhaps to use the hand for other purposes or if the user falls.

*Ed Fowler, knifemaker from Wyoming, will not put a wrist thong on his knives after he had a friend whose wrist thong caught on a doorknob, pulling the knife through is hand and giving him a bad cut. Ed believes that the curved sheep horn that he uses for his handles gives good control of the blade and good retention of the knife.

OK, I chased it down. It is not the apostrophe in "don't".

It was the bullets, the tab after each bullet, and the ... special character.

Whatever you're using to add fancy characters such as bullets and compressing three dots down to one -- that's what is causing the forum to blank-page your post.
