Mitchell Harrison posted this notice from the Randall Family on Facebook.

The Randall family has suffered a terrible loss. We were asked to post this. May his memories be a blessing.
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of Michael Thomson Randall, who passed away earlier this week. Michael will be missed by us all. He was 56. Services will be held privately for family at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Civilian Marksmanship Program (https://thecmp.org/support/)

Sad news indeed. Michael and I were (both) "shooters" and many a friendly talk with him was dedicated to this subject. He will certainly be missed by me and no longer will folks be "phone-greeted" by that soft, warm voice.
Fair Winds, my friend
Respectfully submitted,
Captain Chris Stanaback

A great guy, fun to talk with him, to be escorted around the museum by him.

Sad for his family and friends.

It leaves a gap that all will feel.

Larry

A great loss for sure as I always enjoyed seeing Michael and talking to him at the Blade Show plus he and my Grandson talked about cameras and photography.
Praying for the entire Randall Family.

Hate to hear that type of news. He was fun to talk to. Never knew he was having health issues.

During a trip to Florida in March, 2024, I made a second pilgrimage to South Orange Blossom Trail to visit the shop and tour the 'new' museum for my first time.
Michael was a gracious docent at the museum and despite his ordinary avoidance, consented to allowing me to capture his portrait.
I had many telephone interactions with him over the years, so meeting him in person was a real highlight of my visit.

Condolences to the entire Randall family. Michael's gentle soul will be missed.
