I know there are folks here that do not partake on Facebook but I wanted to make you aware of a raffle to raise funds in Michael's name for a donation to the C.M.P. as the Randall family requested.

Bottom line, for $40 you get a chance at 9 knives that have been donated by the guys in the Facebook groups.

Michael Randall's early passing left a hole in the heart of the Randall family and the collector community. He will be greatly missed.

The Randall Family asked that in lieu of flowers that we offer a donation to the Civilian Marksmanship Program in Michael's name.

What started out as Duke and I offering "A Knife" has grown to 9 knives!!!! The support has been amazing! I am guessing there is more to come.

We are going to run the contest for one week. The winners will be selected by random number generator on Saturday, October 19th at 10:00 am central time. First winner gets the first pick and so on. Once a number is drawn, it will be removed from the field.

This was a great response.

I suspect most participants never met Michael, maybe just spoke with him on the phone.

Thinking maybe he is looking down and saying "Wow!"

Most of us will not be remembered so fondly, or by so many.

Duke McCaa just pointed out I did not post the money raised.

We had 390 entries at 40 dollars each. That is 15,600 dollars which will be donated to the CMP. (there were a few PP fees, but we will cover those)

Once we wrap things up, we will coordinate with the Randall family to make the donation according to their wishes.
