I am catalog/organizing my RMK. I have a few leather handled RMK that have "Acorn" nuts at the butt end of the handle.
BUT I also have an "acorn" nut at the butt end of a wood handled Separate S model 5.
Opinions or facts please: would the acorn nut been a customer request or did RMK put them on as an experiment or was it a standard for a period of time or??
I have a dozen or so Sep S 5's and none of the other non leather ones have an acorn nut.
