I pray the port went smoothly. Prayers continue.

Had the port installed today...it's no picnic!! Slept most of the day when I got home...consultations with the oncologist on Monday afternoon. I'll keep my friends posted...

As you know I have been through all of the treatments with my throat cancer.
One of my favorite passages is Proverbs 3:5-6
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your
own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.
Allowing GOD to be your guide begins with a commitment to trust.
GOD cannot lead you where you will not follow.

Alright my dear brothers (and Sister Lori), extensive chemo for a couple of months, trying to shrink tumors, then if they're shrunk enough, surgery to scrape bowels and flood with chemo bath...if tumors do not show extensive shrinkage, then a MORE aggressive chemo after surgery would be necessary...but that would only be to "extend life" indefinitely....and THAT ain't happening! So, all in all. It's in Gods hands! As it should be...
